Awesome Trail!
Nantahala BikewayWhile this is slated for bikes, I’ve only hiked this trail. It is awesome!! Paved, secluded, and while I’ve been on it about 4 times, I’ve never seen anyone else! There’s numerous offshoot trails leading to the river for my pups to get their paws wet and they LOVE all the good “wild” smells along the way!!

Pictograph Cave State ParkMy dogs loved the hike & all the smells!! They even “helped” us climb some of the steeper trails! Nice park!

Not dog friendly?
Norm Schoenthal IslandThere were numerous signs stating dogs were not allowed!! Not sure if those were specific areas since it was not where the “water” was but thought I’d let everyone know. We ended up not staying because of this & the mosquitoes!
