Not safe
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the GodsThe people working the front counter are very kind, but the location of this hotel is directly next to a freeway overpass, with people seemingly on meth wandering around in the parking lot and dog relief area. There was a sunflower seed shell on the bed, placed nicely on top for us. A large clump of hair in the shower from the previous tenant, ants, black mold in the shower corners, and the room smelled like urine. Homeless people sleeping in the parking lot drinking and using drugs upon our arrival.
The worst part, the hotel rooms are attached by a door, and we were woken up at 2am by 4 folks next door, talking about how they were going to figure out their next drug deal, and yelling & partying until 4am when we promptly drove off. We chose this hotel because it was late and was cheaper than others in the area at $98 for the room. We were willing to forgive a lot of the uncleanliness but the people who inhabit this hotel were too much for us. Probably should have left sooner. Anyway, please don’t go here!
