Awful

I had booked a double, then changed the reservation to a single room. When I arrived I was given a double. I was too exhausted from the long drive to argue. This was unfair. The room smelled old, the vanity lights did not work. The toilet has a peeling, painted WOOD seat which has got to be against code. The "furniture" was damaged by chewing? The thin, old carpet floor felt damp. The microwave was old and terrible. The window was very old and not secure for a first floor room. It was so old, so damp and dirty feeling that I didn't want my cat on the floor. Maybe this place thinks cats all spray or chew, but they don't. My cat and I deserved better. This place was dark and dank.
