Small but Convenient
Rocker InnEasy access from interstate & good for just an overnight stay at reasonable rate. Older rooms on the small side (fun with 2 humans & a couple of 100 pound dogs!)—basic but clean. On site bar (beer & wine) & snack items. Limited staff though, so patience needed (afternoon/night we were there just 1 overworked person running all), but both night & morning individuals were VERY pleasant—even cute handmade doggie goodie bags provided! Grass areas outside for pup pit stops—no off-leash areas. Recommend for quick trip overnights.
Good Running Room
Skyline Park Dog ParkStopped here at end of day 2 of road trip to give our two 100-pound pups a chance to stretch their legs. Entrance a bit hidden, but once you drive back you see a large fenced area and walking paths. We went in first area & walked perimeter path a few times (approx 1/4 mile). No grass & little shade, but as long as weather nice it’s fine. Found out as we were leaving there was another area further up path (hidden in trees) for large dogs. No signs posted to tell you this, so make sure to explore past first ‘yard’. Nice locals & pups there on afternoon we stopped.
Good Value
Hampton Inn ProvoHave stayed here on annual road trips for 10+ yrs with our dogs. Rooms basic, but clean & desk staff always friendly & helpful. Grass areas outside sufficient, but limited. Would love to see a fenced area nearby to let pups stretch their legs a bit. Bonus: our pups loved a waffle treat occasionally from breakfast bar!
