Rude and unprepared
La Quinta by Wyndham Salem NHOvercharged for pet fee until I spoke with the manager and said I'd take it up with Wyndham. I was told by the GM that the owner set their own fees despite Wyndham and La Quinta's published policy. We had to request linens and the hotel was completely out of soap. No bar soap or liquid soap, so we were offered extra shampoo. There was pet hair piled in corners where it hadn't been cleaned regularly. There was a hole in the ceiling where the tile was coming off. The front desk staff was rude and arguing with each other in front of guests. Coffee canisters on the breakfast buffet were empty. There were two pros: quiet street and hot water.
