Dog friendly
YorkYork does allow dogs. It can be a popular spot and get a bit crowded and loud which you should consider. The ground is gravel.

Always nice to our pup
HOMES BreweryHOMES allows dogs in their outdoor area and will even bring your dog water and maybe a small treat. The ground is gravel which the dogs seem fine with. On busy days it can feel like there are many dogs since the space is not huge, so it kind of just depends. It's easy to walk out to the parking lot or neighborhood for a break (if you've got other people with you to stay at the table). And the food is great! HOMES Campus allows dogs too!

Lenient rules
Belle Isle BeachThere are many signs along the beach area saying no pets, along with no glass containers or grills. But many people grill right at the edge of the beach (grass), so we thought it might be okay to have our dog at the edge too. Saw some others with dogs and nobody talked to us about it. There did seem to be a small area or two which were actually pet-friendly, but they looked like less desirable beach areas.
