This is the place!
Riverside Campground & CabinsThis is the best campground. Dog friendly even in most of the cabin options. The staff are friendly period. There is a camp store and a food truck. The cabin had bedding, pots, dishes, etc so that helped reduce packing and leave room in the car for the dogs to come. There is a beautiful calm river to play in. We hardly left the campground it was so much fun! The dogs enjoyed watching the stellar jays by day and we spotted a fox outside at night--so special! We camp Big Sur every year and this campground is our newly discovered jewel and go to. We even love the quiet hours and family atmosphere.

Great Place but Loud
Motel 6 Santa Barbara CA - BeachThis place is well designed, clean, and cute. It is also in a great location half a block to the beach and surrounded by upscale resorts. Too bad it was too loud at night. We didn't get to sleep until 3am. between late night check-in upstairs who decided to unpack and drag their suitcases around the room and due to partiers sitting on the staircase and talking loudly for hours despite being asked to stop. This place could be great if the management posted and enforced quiet hours. As it is, we paid for two nights, but ended up taking an afternoon nap day two and leaving before nightfall to go back home early. If you want to sleep during the day and party at night or if you are having an afternoon rendezvous, this place would be fine. But if you want to sleep at night, forget it. Our dog didn't like all the noise either.
