Great green space
Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls an IHG HotelProbably a great option for longer stays but it was a little loud between the fridge and the air conditioner running off and on all night. The space for the dogs was awesome though; one of the better we have seen recently.
Everything but grass
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Durango Downtown an IHG HotelIt was quiet and clean! The restaurant downstairs was delicious and fast. There is a large open space “dog play” area which is great except that one of ours is quite nervous around off leash dogs. Other than that area there’s not really any great spots to walk and potty for the pups. Overall a pretty nice night!
Brutal night
La Quinta by Wyndham ButteWe stayed here because the ratings were so high! I don’t know how they got 4 or 5 bones from anyone. We were in the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. That was the highlight. We could hear our neighbors exhale. The people above us dared to shower and use the toilet and it sounded like a flood in our bathroom. The bed was surprisingly comfortable considering it had a large slope in the middle.
Overall good stay!
Hampton Inn & Suites CasperThe best beds and pillows! Just very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and felt newer. We had a very rough night mostly due to a college athletics team on the floor above us being very loud and stomping and running until very late and then starting up very early the next morning. We also had a strange high pitched alarm sound in our room for about 30 minutes. When my husband mentioned this stuff at checkout, the helpful clerk was quick to go above and beyond to make it right. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Good people make a big difference.
Very nice place to stay
Best Western Plus Lincoln Inn & SuitesWe had to make an unexpected detour to Lincoln because of weather. Didn’t expect to sleep so well, but it was a great night for us! Quiet and the beds are *amazingly* comfortable. We had the small suite since it was a long stopover and the couch was perfect. Very clean. Soft carpet. Would definitely stay here again!
One negative, the pet area was pretty much disgusting. Not on the hotel but on bad guests. I wish people would pick up after their pets and maybe more hotels would welcome pets?
Comfy beds!
MainStay Suites Coralville - Iowa CityThe walls are paper thin. We had somewhat kind neighbors who went to bed early so it was not a huge issue, but oof if they weren’t early to bed. Nice and spacious room. Comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. Quiet area and plenty of space for puppy breaks. We would probably stay here again.
Just no
Paradise InnRoom 1 had a flooded bathroom and room 2 had horrible beds and we could hear every single move our upstairs neighbor made, all night. The patio out to green space was amazing for the dogs - loved that. But the hotel is not well maintained and there aren’t any positives to share outside of the sliding door. We had stayed here years ago and liked it but this was a complete waste of money. And it was expensive for a night of changing rooms and no sleep. Keep looking.
Finally a good place
Hampton Inn MadisonAfter a few rough nights in hotels, this was fantastic! Comfy beds, wonderful pillows and quiet! Plenty of grass for the pups too! We would definitely stay here again.
Great stay!
Holiday Inn Express Spokane Downtown an IHG HotelWe would definitely stay here again! Inside/outside entrance was great for the dogs. Quiet and clean.
Just no, keep driving
Kelly Inn & Suites Mitchell South DakotaWorst hotel over a month long trip. It was loud, staff slamming the maintenance closet behind our room multiple times during the night. The air conditioner case fell apart and the unit made a screeching sound every four minutes all night and the shower was so gross and obviously had not been cleaned recently. The hotel is outdated but if it were clean and operational, age could be overlooked. We were also on the third floor and far away from stairwells, but we booked last minute so probably our fault. I would stay almost anywhere else though.
