Good stop
Red Lion Hotel ReddingThe Red Lion was a fine stop for us and our Rhodesian Ridgeback. A nice courtyard green where we could walk him. Our dog-friendly room was on ground level and we were able to park very close.

Nice property
Residence Inn by Marriott Portland NorthWe stayed here with our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Joey, on our way up to Washington. Just one night, but it was nice to be in a large single space with small kitchen. We all had plenty of room to stretch out! The unit was clean and the hotel staff were pleasant.

Fun Time! Good food
The StateWe visited State gastropub in Redlands for an early lunch (they open at 11am on weekdays) and sat on the covered patio with our 90 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, Joey. It was very nice and they were very good with Joey, bringing him a water bowl right out the gate. The patio is in the front and very well integrated with the restaurant. Good people watching and good food. We will definitely be back

Large room, View of Humboldt Bay
Best Western Plus Bayshore InnWe stayed 1 night here on our way up the coast from Long Beach CA to Gig Harbor WA. The room was large and clean. We stayed in a 2nd floor King in the back property and were surprised with a view of the bay when we woke in the morning. The included breakfast was decent. We were able to park near a back keyed entry to the courtyard and schlepp our luggage (and dog bed for our 80 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback) on the provided luggage cart up the elevator easily to our room. They also provide internal exterior stair access to the room off the courtyard, so our beautiful boy did not have to take the elevator.

Quality property
Tradewinds CarmelThe Tradewinds Carmel is a beautiful property. Looks like an older Motel that has been completely Remodeled inside and out. Quality appointments in the room and nice exterior common spaces. Located right next to old town. Some of the top floor rooms have ocean views. We all got a nice food treat, Joey, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, included on arrival. Also a nice breakfast was provided included in the rate. Do be aware that a $50 pet charge was required at check in.
