Nice rooms, restaurants nearby
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham LaGrange / I-85This is a nice clean place. The young man who checked me in was very personable and welcoming. This is not an inexpensive hotel, with the additional doggie fee, the total came to a little over $150 for our one-night stay. Therefore, I think that the hotel should have some upgraded TV cable stations available. There was cable news, but that's it. The location is great, just off Hwy 85, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. I just think for the cost there should have been some upgraded TV channels.

Happy Overall!
Wingate by Wyndham Lake Charles Casino AreaWe liked the high ceiling in our room on the 1st floor. The room was very pretty and felt fairly newly renovated. (Finny, the toilet was a little too close to the door, but it did shut, just barely.) The heater made a rattling noise when put at a lower setting, upon checking out I mentioned this issue to the front desk person who seemed very responsive. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, which is nice, but the road in front of the hotel was busy, and Hwy 10 is on the other side. My suggestion is to ask for an odd numbered room closest to the busy road rather than the Hwy for noise reasons. There is a lovely park about 7 miles from this hotel that I took our pooches to. Overall we had a nice stay.

Lovely
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Walker - Denham SpringsWe really liked this hotel. And I feel bad that I can’t give it 5 bones because of a seemingly small issue. We enjoyed the nice big room, and room was clean and attractively decorated. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. So the little issue: the TV remote was not paired properly with the TV. First, we couldn’t turn it on, so I called the front desk and was told that the newer TVs had to be turned on by pushing a button on the TV, and could not be turned on remotely. Okay, did that. Then we discovered that the volume could only be increased and decreased manually (not remotely). I don’t know about y’all, but relaxing in bed with a remote for the TV after a long drive is part of the enjoyment when staying at a hotel. Other than this issue, we had a lovely experience, and would stay here again!

Nice!
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham MontgomeryStaff was very nice and helpful. Adequate walking area for our dog. Clean, however even though the room had been renovated, this seemed to be a while ago. Lights were dim in the room. The beds were comfortable, nice big room. We would stay here again!
