Surprisingly Nice Location

Not only was our room nice, and the staff friendly, and helpful, as a birder, there was added bonus. The property is located in front of a lovely pond. I was unaware of this when we checked in late in the evening and was surprised when I walked my puppers in the early morning, when it was still dark, to hear the call of a kingfisher. On a second walk after sunrise, when that pond, and the path leading to it was visible, we were delighted. Sadly, while I distracted by birds, my pooch noticed a feral cat (they leave food for them around the property), took off like a shot, with me attached to her leash, sending me, and my camera flying! So except for feeding the enemy, the place is great for staying with your pup!
