Great Walking Trails Nearby
Park City Peaks HotelThe staff and check-in were both easy and topnotch. The room was great. The best thing about the hotel is the proximity to great walking paths and water! A brook runs right by the hotel. Walking paths go in three different directions. Plenty of green space to play with your dog right out back.

Lots of Green Space
The Highlander HotelThe hotel is surrounded by green space. The room had a sliding glass door directly out to access the green space. Easy in, easy out. It's not near downtown but easy access to the highway.

Strip Mall
Hilton Garden Inn Wilkes BarreI should have paid more attention to the map. The hotel was fine. The staff was dog friendly. The room was adequate. BUT, the hotel is literally in a strip mall which on a road full of strip malls. The green area was sketchy. If you like to take your dog for a walk, unless you like to walk in Walmart, you'll need to get in your car and find a place to walk him/her. Pavement and parking everywhere except for a wee strip of grass in the back.
