Right off I-95
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brunswick/Golden IslesWe have found that this location works great as a midpoint from Miami to the DC Metro area. They have basic rooms, good size bathroom and wood laminate flooring. On our last stay we reserved a King size bed for a little more but received to queen size beds instead. They should offer to refund the difference. They have a free breakfast but we don’t have it and hit the road early. The room we had last night had mold on the shower and sink. The AC did not cool the room and it felt a little humid. You can’t beat the price. No need to break the bank for a one night stay as we plow into the second half of our trip. We plan to stay here in the future.

Great service/hearty meal
Old Brogue Irish Pubit was a rainy cold day so unfortunately we did not bring our pup. the food was solid. we had Katie’s pot pie. skip the onion soup. we were totally into carbs so did the loaded potato skins. we are definitely full.
