Walkable and welcoming

Salt Hotel

The Salt Hotel may be my new fave weekend getaway. There are several antique shops and small art galleries within a dog’s walk of the hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the harbor. The pub was literally next door to our room and we never heard it. Speaking of the pub, they were short-staffed on the day of our visit (and a storm was coming in)so we weren’t able to sit at the outdoor area, but in the summer it will be a great place to have a pint and a meal with your pup. We were traveling with friends so we tag-teamed dog-duties; half of us ate in the pub while the other half walked the pups around the harbor and then we swapped. The food was good and the beer selection excellent. Breakfast and coffee options were just a short stroll away as well. Altogether a great find.

Fur kids welcomed

Hurricane Grill & Wings

Good food, nice patio near a water feature, and an outdoor TV so we could watch the World Baseball Classic while dining with our dog. Staff very welcoming and brought out a fresh bowl of water for the pup. Nice doggie specific menu, though the portions were a bit small in Delilah’s opinion. She rates the “Muttloaf” an enthusiastic 2 paws up. Will definitely come here again.
