Not so good for people

Pros: Nice hotel for dogs. Tile floor, sliding door right out to parking lot and grassy area. That’s 3 bones.
Good breakfast with real bacon, eggs, potatoes and Chobani yogurt, several juices, pancakes, etc. Cons: Dead ROACH in bathroom, living ants. Very old and outdated hotel that has been mostly renovated INSIDE but needs work. Sliding entry door had a jury rigged bar and weak latch. I’m not young and have stayed in many, many, hotels. This was my first and last Best Western. There is NO excuse for a dead cockroach. If it’s dead on the floor because they have exterminators then where is housekeeping? I have spent lots of time in tents working at international disaster sites (think typhoon, earthquake) so I’m not immune to roaches, rats, spiders, and much more. But not in a hotel in the USA.
