It was a bed
Motel 6 Santa Rosa NMThe place was neat but not necessarily clean. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom. My pup peed on the floor so as I was wiping it up the dirt that was on the cloth wasn't from me. Yuck. Who knows when the floors had actually been washed? The flooring was laminate so I guess they figured dry mop is fine but it's not. Vending machines in lobby were out of order and the pool that was steps from the door was covered over and it's July and a heatwave. It was a bed and a stop in my long trip but not worth the price.

Hard to find
Motel 6 Springfield MO - NorthThere were no signs on the highway indicating which exit to take. The water in the sink was warm to scalding. The tub is a hazard. No non-slip in the tub so I did slip. The bed had more hills and valleys than the Ozarks.

Great room for the pricel
Motel 6 Tucumcari NMLocation of room was great. Ground floor, parking right outside of door. Staff was friendly.

Not what I signed up for
Red Roof Inn St Robert - Ft Leonard WoodMy parameters were no pet fee and 2 pets. I arrive and am told only one pet is free. Then I have to sign my life away to register. Can't leave pets unattended but the walk from the car to the room is up a flight of stairs even though it is "ground floor." Was told the AC would be on and it wasn't. The toilet is so low to the ground it would be perfect for a 5 year old and it rocks. Not what I expected and definitely not from Red Roof Inn.
