Nice modern suites

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown

This hotel was great to stay at with our dog. They were very friendly and had an outdoor lounge area with turf and cornhole. They also had several grassy areas outside for potty breaks which made it easy to navigate. Valet is required to park there at an extra $40, but the service was nice. With the short walk to downtown Denver our pup got so much love and attention at all the outdoor seating for dinner and brunch. We all enjoyed our stay and want to go back!

Missing certain amenities

The Lodge at Santa Fe

This hotel was fine for a brief stay and were accommodating of our dog, with lots of plants and turf for her to sniff and use. I would say the room was cute but we had to move after the first night because the window wouldn't lock on the ground floor. The rooms also don't have mini fridges in them, which was a bummer because we tend to feed our dog fresh food, but the hotel managed to bring us one upon request. The fitness center was lacking, and there was no on-site restaurant (though many great options nearby) but we did feel this place was cute but mostly just skating by on the bare minimum. It was fine for 2 nights but we were ready to leave.

Amazing location

Amara Resort and Spa

Amara was incredible through and through, we can't wait to go back. The staff absolutely loves dogs and our pup immediately got so much love, attention and treats letting her know she was the star! We upgraded to a creekside room and highly recommend if you can afford it! We were a 2 minute walk to the creek path and lots of fun areas for our pup to sniff and play. While she couldn't go in the pool area, there is an outdoor courtyard with turf, seating and cornhole you can bring your dog.

There is also outdoor seating at the in house restaurant which is very nice, and they bring your dog water and milk bones. When the restaurant wasn't open yet they let us bring her inside to sit at the bar with us until it was time for dinner, and also made sure she had plenty of water and attention! This is also one of the few places where they allow you to leave your dog in your room unattended if they will behave, and give you a "pet in room" door hanger to let housekeeping know so they won't knock and upset them. All in all I did not expect this very nice place to be SO dog friendly, but it was absolutely the best experience. We decided to add an additional night to our stay we were enjoying it so much!
