Basic and clean
Red Roof Inn Wilkes Barre ArenaPerfect room to stay with the dog. Very basic, clean, wood floor, place to potty and the mattress was comfortable.

Basic needs met
Motel 6 Youngstown OHThe room was clean and newly renovated. One thing I had forgotten about Motel 6 is just how basic it is. The mattress was on a wooden slab with no box springs and there isn’t an elevator so be ready for a workout getting luggage upstairs. I had originally asked for a first floor room but when I opened the door the beds weren’t made. It was as if the person vanished before they finished cleaning! LOL. The staff got me a different room, but it was upstairs. The staff was friendly. We ordered takeout which was delivered without utensils but a staff member gave us some from her personal vehicle. Saved us from eating like animals! It is what it is, a place to sleep and shower.

Adequate Stay
La Quinta by Wyndham Hartford Bradley AirportThere is a park a mile away called Spring Park where he got his sniffing and walking in. The room was clean and in good condition. The king bed mattress needed replacement it sagged horribly. The continental breakfast consisted of a small bottle of water and a small muffin lol! Basically bread and water for the peasants. They get to advertise free breakfast though!

Not clean, not comfortable, not safe!
Quality Inn AcworthAlthough my dog didn’t mind, our room was extremely dirty! We arrived at 8pm due to traffic being rough. There was an empty beer can left in the trash which made the room stink or at least not help it. The floor was so dirty we kept our shoes on and washed our feet before getting into bed which was lumpy. The bath tub didn’t have a drain so showering is the only option, but the really scary thing is how slick the tub was. No mat to put in the tub and both my husband and I slipped and got bruises. The doors are not sealed well. The marijuana smoke from the adjacent room leaked into ours and the exterior door had no bolt! The hair dryer had red makeup smeared on it (I left with wet hair)and yellow funk was smeared on the bathroom lighting fixtures. We were charged $50.00 security deposit twice and when I brought it to the clerks attention she blamed our bank, of course the lack of understanding and eye roll was free!!! They did end up fixing that, but did not communicate with us. I figured I was going to have to battle that.
