Brentwood Inn & GardenPros: good spot to walk pup in interior courtyard. Nice, clean pool. Pet-friendly guests. Cons: sketchy location with dilapidated buildings behind. Mediocre breakfast with corn tortillas that fall apart, 'real' eggs that would lose a fight with powdered, sausage patties that lost their way to Flavortown, all served on styrofoam plates and bowls.
Friendly and attentive staff!
National 9 Inn WellingtonLaci and Stacy were tops, attending to our needs sweetly. We missed them the moment we drove away! As for the room, the bathroom is a bit dated (fixtures, delaminating molding), but having the sink outside the door is a huge plus. Comfy beds, so-so LED TV (resolution looked more from the tube days). Diner looked and smelled legit, but we had our own provisions. Despite the location across from crumbling car wash, there's a pond nearby that is walkable. A nice (and new, apparently) discovery!
