For real Dog people

Ewe-Topia is a great place for people who understand dogs are dogs and not your children. That they require structure and rules and that it is not okay for your dog to be in charge of you.
If you are not in control of your dog and it is jumping on every one running up to other dogs and getting in their face the owners and people that work here will correct your dog for doing so. Most the time this is because it is obvious you can't handle your own dog and need some guidance on how to not let your dog walk all over you.

My Berger Picard loves coming to Ewe-topia. He will start out trying to eat the sheep as dinner when we first arrive but by his second lesson you can see that he respects the trainer in the pen and doesn't try to charge for the sheep legs. My Picard needs a firmer hand than some other dogs and if you don't have a stronger will then him he will make your life terrible.

My other dog Keebler is much softer and needs lots of encouragement. His first time coming he only tried to play with the sheep but still had them moving which was good. He got lots of praise for interacting with the sheep as you could tell he was really unsure. Our second time going he actually started realizing what he was suppose to do and you could see the switch go off in his head. He absolutely loved it and was encouraged the entire time. He is very sensitive and the trainer knew exactly how to talk to him to get him to do what she wanted.

Ewe-Topia is equipped and experienced enough to handle any dogs needs. That doesn't mean that all owners are ready to hear that they did not do a good job of establishing rules and boundaries with their dog and the owners at Ewe-Topia will put them in their place on their property to maintain the peace that most other dogs and owners seem to understand.
