It’s alright
Soft Gold Dog ParkThis park is a smaller park. Parking is not close. No shade and no water. But there is grass/weeds and fully fenced with a couple picnic tables. Overall I would only return if I really really needed to get my dog out and this park was the closest.
Dog Poop Everywhere!
Hills Pet Nutrition Bark ParkWe stopped by on our way thru thinking it would be a good stop while traveling. The park itself is pretty big but I couldn’t walk 10 steps without stepping and almost stepping in dog poop. The time we were there I didn’t see ONE dog owner pick up poop. Not going back to that park unless it’s the absolute last resort.
Great Large Dog Park
Hays Dog ParkEvery time I pass thru Hays it’s a must that I spot to let my dog run. The park is big enough that you can really wear your dog out perfect stop for road trips.
Birds are around if you have a bird dog that likes to chase the birds. Plenty of room for chasing birds!!
Great Location!
Pioneer Dog ParkThis is a good spot to let your dog run around after traveling for a couple hours. the park is good sized for the area. being next to the Worlds Largest Easel the area is busy with people. I stopped there two different times passing through and the the dog park was empty but people were taking next to easel and were gone. they didn’t hang around after they got the picture.
Great Stay
Days Inn by Wyndham EllisThis hotel has a nice location right off the highway. We were traveling and stayed a night. The pet room floor is on the second floor. A nice and quiet stay. The only complaint I would have is there isn’t much space to walk our dog. But if your dog doesn’t need a lot of space to walk this is a great hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and helpful both checking in and checking out. I will definitely stay here again!!
