Dog friendly
Timbers INN and SuitesThis hotel was fine. Slightly run down, but clean. I think the new owner is working on maintenance. It is very dog friendly. They've added a little bitty "dog park," which is basically a turf pet relief area. Nice of them. Located right next to a pizza restaurant with outdoor seating, a grocery store and a fantastic coffee shop called Remix, which has a dog-friendly walk-up window. The sheets were washed with fragranced detergent, so people with allergies should beware.
Absolutely fine
Guesthouse Inn BellinghamDog friendly, clean. Nothing too fancy but more than just basic. We had a good stay here. I was a little weirded out by the fact that they made a paper imprint of our credit card. The woman at the desk told me they'd shred it after we left. Weird that it's not electronic. Didn't feel too secure. But so far, no whammies.
Super small room
Relax Inn at AshlandThis is an inexpensive place to stay with your dog. The room is tiny and very basic. We were bothered well into the night by noise from the neighbors. If your "sketchy" radar is very sensitive, then maybe stay elsewhere. But it was fine for us. Next door is a very cool little coffee stand.
