Beautiful spot!

O'Fallon Dog Park

What a great place to walk on trails and also play in the fenced off-leash area! Loved this place! Just note it’s only open sunrise to dusk. Not lighted in dark hours of the day. The dog park itself is not visible from the ample parking area. You turn left into the parking lot, then walk along the path toward the rear left corner to find it. If there were signs, I missed them, but found other local dog owners who very happily directed me.

So much space!

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park

Lots of parking, lots of space for the dogs to run. You can even get some good steps in yourself, it’s so big! Also includes water for the dogs for drinking and a small pond-like feature to cool off in on hot days.

Needs some maintenance

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oklahoma City - NW Expwy

Hotel room was decent. Lots of space to take the dog outside. Rooms are not soundproof. There was a big gap under the door and people were speaking loudly in the halls until 1am. Not great if your dog responds to these sounds. The stairs and elevator at the rear entrance nearest my room were all in the same place, which made coming and going a bit congested at times. The lock on my door took about 7 tries with the card each time I wanted to enter the room. No issues using the key cards entering the building though. There was a leak under the flooring in the bathroom. (I reported both of these issues to the hotel staff.) Best things about this spot were the location and lovely staff. It was a convenient spot to stay the night while on the road. I wished for less noise transmission and a little better maintenance.

Great location, easy with dogs

Yavapai Lodge

This lodge is right inside the national park, very close to the south rim (about a 20 min walk or 3 min drive). You can park directly outside the rooms for easy loading/unloading. Rooms are decent, not overly modern but comfortable. There is lots of space to walk the dog right by the lodge. The dog friendly rooms have a large dog crate in them as well. The rim trails are dog friendly (on leash). Not a lot of waste receptacles but there are some near picnic areas. The park info has more detail regarding pet rules. There are also kennel services - I did not use them but just saw that they’re available. This is a great spot to access the national park. There is a marketplace where you can purchase supplies, etc. You pay the entrance fee before you get to the lodge.

Very pet friendly

Las Palomas

Beautiful Santa Fe hotel. Rooms are private and quiet. I asked for a quiet room and was given a very quiet room with its own private fenced area and fireplace. Sky, at the reception desk, was very warm and welcoming to both me and my dog, who is typically shy of people. Sky really understands dogs! She shared a wealth of information about Santa Fe as well. The hotel is located within a short walk of the downtown plaza. Our stay came with a warm, made-to-order breakfast and snacks are available too. Ground was snow-covered so I couldn’t really tell what green space was readily available. They give you a welcome bag for the dog including information on nearby dog parks. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

Nice hotel, great staff

La Quinta by Wyndham Terre Haute

Nice new-appearing hotel, clean rooms. A good amount of green space for pets. The best thing about this location was the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Angela, at the desk. She was working on a holiday and was very warm, accommodating, and welcoming. Angela went over and above for me and my dog. She exemplifies a fabulous customer experience.

Beautiful spot, dog friendly

The Lodge at Breckenridge

The surroundings are beautiful. They have an easy to get to pet area, but there are also trails just a few minutes walk away. The room was lovely and spacious. If I could give 4.5 I would as my only complaint was that the room was too hot and you had to open the windows to cool it down. If your dog is noise sensitive, this might be an issue. Otherwise, staff, amenities, location were all great.

Great central Moab spot

The Gonzo Inn

As I booked the day of my reservation, I called the BringFido number as recommended. The individual there went over and above to answer my questions and confirm my reservation. Very friendly and welcoming staff at the hotel. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade. My room was large and had a fully fenced patio, albeit shared with another room but still very private. I was able to block off access to the neighbors with the chairs so my dog wouldn’t wander next door. Good sized room with all the amenities - mini fridge, coffee machine, microwave, a sink, and human dishes. There is a restaurant here too. Large lawn behind the hotel for the dog to roam. There is also a trail right beside the hotel for walking. Hotel is also right downtown within walking distance from many restaurants, a drug store, and adventure planner. 10 minute drive from Arches, about 35 minute drive from Dead Horse Point State Park, and about 50 min drive from Canyonland. I ended up staying another day.
