Stay here!!

This place was great for the price! It’s definitely a Motel 6, but I’m relatively high maintenance, and this place worked well.

Pros: Grassy areas outside with poop bags and trash cans. No carpet in rooms. Coin operated laundry easy access. Very clean. Cheap! Friendly staff - Ashley at the front desk checked us in, and she was cool.

Cons: Nothing of note. It’s still a Motel 6, so set your expectations accordingly.

Overall, I would absolutely stay here again!

Very dirty

We were driving through on a cross country road trip and decided to stay here based on these reviews. Unfortunately, our stay seemed to be an outlier.

Pros: The man at the front desk was very nice. He’s the only reason I’m not giving one bone. I hate to give him two bones. The bathroom was also fairly clean - at least relative to the room. We were also able to park about 3 steps from our door, which was great for transporting our cats. There is a small gated area for pet relief. It’s a pro for my dog because she doesn’t mind rocks or dirt, but if your dog needs grass, do not stay here. There is no grass nearby.

Cons: The floor was obviously not vacuumed. There was rice scattered on the floor and clumps of fur about the size of my cat that were only partially obscured by furniture. Luckily we travel with a hand vacuum (to clean our cats’ litter if it spills), so we vacuumed the floor ourselves, and filled the vacuum. The drawers in the side table contained someone’s dirty socks. The bed skirt was covered in stains.

Overall, I would recommend spending the $40 extra for a different hotel. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Great for the price

Driving through on our move from WA to SC in winter. Just needed a place to stay one night. Pros: The room was large and clean. No nooks for our cats to hide and get stuck in. Grassy area outside the door for our small dog to use the bathroom. Didn’t walk her much farther than that though. Cons: While I was excited to see biscuits and gravy, they weren’t very good. Options were limited, but waffles are always a solid choice. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. It’s one of the nicer pet-friendly hotels we’ve stayed, and it was under $100!
