Nice hotel for our dog
Best Western Plus Richmond Hill InnAfter reading reviews for this property we were skeptical about staying here. However, we really enjoyed our stay! Our room was clean, no doggy odor, and the pet area behind the hotel was just right for our dog. Check-in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was adequate and consisted of scrambled eggs, link sausage, assorted breads, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit and yogurt. For the price it couldn't be beat.
Good location and staff!
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham WalterboroThis is a nice, clean hotel and our pup was comfortable and happy. There is a nice area to let your pet get some exercise and do his business. I do think some pet parents should be more considerate and clean up after their dog. The breakfast in the morning was nothing to write home about but was sufficient.
Unfortunately we were stranded at the hotel for a few days due to car trouble. I have to give a big shout out to Cindy who was very kind and helped us tremendously making sure we had a good stay. All of the staff that we interacted with were very nice and made sure we were comfortable. There is not much in the area as far as dining options but there is a Cracker Barrel directly across the street. We will definitely stay here again as we travel to/from Florida.
Great location!
Motel 6 Walterboro SCThe hotel was bare bones (no pun intended). No amenities to speak of. No coffee pot, few towels, no breakfast. However, it was clean, didn’t smell and had a nice area for our German Shepherd. For the price it was very nice and we would stay again. Only complaint (and really not a complaint) was the floor. It really is the only option for a hotel of this type but my doggie is a scaredy cat on slippery laminate floors. Next time we will be prepared and bring some floor runners with us.
