Amazing park- just do your research and train your dog before going!

This off leash area is huge and bordered by woods. My biggest recommendations are: 1) RECALL TRAINING! My dog started going here at 5 months old so recall was learned early on. If your dog is not trained to come back when called, there are two small fenced sections near the gated entrance where you can practice. 2) KNOW YOUR DOG! Does your dog like being surrounded by other dogs? Or is it selective about which dogs it likes to interact with? Depending on the day of the week and time of day, this park can get pretty crowded. Personally, my dog has a better time when it is less busy so we have stopped going on weekends. 3) I always recommend people check out their website for lots of helpful info like a map, visitor pamphlet, etc.
