Best dog beach ever!!!
Bonita Beach Dog ParkI brought my two senior large doggies (GSD 110 lb and Lab 70LB) for a few hours to play - so much fun! People were very friendly and there were many dogs there, I did not see any one being aggressive - just playing and having fun. 5 LB dogs, 200 LB dogs - all just being happy. Also, the beach did seem clean. we will b back :)
Senior dog friendly too!!!
Charleston Carriage WorksShade, sea breezes, interesting and fun tour! My very large senior doggies (110lb 11 year old GSD and 70lb 15year old yellow lab) were welcomed and we were allowed to rent the back row for ourselves. (We were actually at another tour company on the same block...but they are all pretty much the same ;) - highly recommend taking this tour with your pooch if you would like to see the city without making your dog suffer walking in the scorching heat
best dog park we have EVER been to!!
James Island County ParkBeach, grass, shade and sunshine too! Friendly dogs and owners. I would consider moving to the area just to be near this dog's wonderland!!! My senior doggies had a blast there!
unfriendly, seems to begrudgingly welcome dogs
Poogan's PorchFor a place we chose simply because it was 'dog-friendly' it was a dissapointment. We were sat in the hot sun with no shade for the dogs and had to ask a few times for water for them. Ate up quickly and left as the heat was unbearable and we did not feel particularly welcome with the dogs
