Fancy looks, bargain experience
Sheraton Bloomington HotelLooks wonderful, classy. Only one entrance, room was fine. Again, looks nice. Dirty couch, the shower was pretty cold, lukewarm water but shivering temp, their breakfast is like a satellite Starbucks without all of their equipment, and there was no open restaurant for breakfast or food court. I would have been satisfied and excited for a $90 price with what they offer. I’m left cold, hungry, and a little bummed, but aside from that, room is clean, looks modern, friendly, and has its place for someone else.

A dump
Holiday HotelThe photos outside look nice and from the outside, I was fooled driving in. Immediately before the door was open the scent made me want to turn back. It was after midnight and I didn’t want to find a new place. It smelled like a wet ashtray, with unusual stains over walls, doors, sheets, towels, floors, light switches, bathtub, and any surface you would put something on. Wood furniture had finish missing and scratch marks everywhere, had holes drilled into them, there were 40-year-old broken light fixtures in it, and I didn’t feel like it was sanitary enough to shower or brush my teeth. There was fighting near my room around 1am. Broken glass in the parking lot. I got the impression that people often complain and their response is to be standoff-ish about it. Avoid this place! Read the google reviews, even of just the last month.
