Old, run down
Travelodge by Wyndham Sellersburg / Louisville NorthThe guy at the desk was very nice, and the room wasn’t dirty. Everything else was horrible. There was a car up on blocks in the parking lot, there was another car with the back window busted out. While we were out, someone left a pile of cat food outside or door to I’m assuming entice cats to come to our door so our dogs would go crazy. Trash blowing all over the property, and the toilet only flushed half the time. Heater was off and room was freezing when we arrived, so spent an hour in the cold waiting for it to heat up after we turned it on. We decided not to stay the second night, was just too much for us! Won’t return.
Fair for the price!
Ramada by Wyndham Angola/Fremont AreaDogs were welcome (and I have barkers). Hotel was a little old, so if your looking for updated and modern don’t go here. Pool needed a paint badly. Hallways were a little cold.
No outdoor Tables!
Frosty Boywe went there last night with our pups for a treat. there are no outdoor tables. this may be due to COVID-19, but was disappointing that we couldn’t sit down to eat with our dogs.
Acceptable Dog Hotel
Baymont by Wyndham Michigan CityClean but rundown. Needed new grout in shower/tub, key card only worked 50% of the time in the door. Door didn't shut all the way on its own. Outdoor space was less than appealing. Was nice to have a slider from the room to outdoor to take the dogs out to the restroom. Beds seemed clean, but were small (full, no queen option when booking). Carpet was clean but old. Had to plug in both heater and fridge when we checked in as they were left off and unplugged, so the room was cold, and the fridge was warm when we got there. The staff was decent but not extremely pleasant. Pool, fitness center and breakfast was closed (but that was due to COVID-19, not the hotels fault). There was a bag of dirty diapers on our patio space when we arrived.
Staff did come remove it immediately when we called, but it looked like it had been sitting there several days. Overall, it was an adequate stay, but nothing I'd write home about. If you need a hotel for pets, its adequate.
ACEPTABLE ACCOMODATIONS
Super 8 by Wyndham Madison/Hanover AreaHotel was fine. Nothing fancy. Walls seemed a little thin, so our dog kept barking when he heard noises of other guests...but overall it was an acceptable place to sleep for a night. It seemed fairly clean, and the folks were nice.
