Proud mom of Hazel Jane, a beautiful middle aged (4-legged) lady.

Hazel Jane and I ate here on a miserably hot afternoon. The 1st thing our waitress did was bring my hot doggy a bowl of ice water! She got lots of love and scritches from the staff, and I was able to order her a dog friendly hamburger patty. I got tge fish and chips, which were the best I have had in a while! The next day, as we passed by, our waitress spotted us on the street and called, "Hi Hazel!". That made my heart happy!

I took Hazel Jane to the lighthouse knowing that we would not get able to enter the lighthouse, but looking forward to walking the grounds with her/take pictures. Unfortunately, they charge the full rate even if you are a single person with a dog who will not be able to go in the lighthouse or museum. So we opted out.

My doggie and I were hot, tired, and in desperate need of a last minute reservation. I was excited to see they had a fenced dog park. I was beyond delighted to find dog bowls in the room. I almost cried with delight when I saw the doggie bed! Hazel Jane was as excited as I was. The next part: this location is so well maintained and SO clean! The staff were very friendly to both of us. I would definitely stay here again!

First of all, Benji was the BEST tour guide EVER! Five Bones to him, too! He included Hazel Jane and took the time to snap a few pics of us as well. (It was really helpful that he had some great pet friendly restaurant suggestions!) This was a great way to get the feel of where we could find everything.

If you want a place on the beach with great food, friendly staff, and a DOGGY MENU (!!!!), try Beachcomber St Augustine! I loved the Angry Crab Sandwich meal and Hazel Jane was absolutely delighted with the doggie chicken and water bowl. The staff members were very helpful, and the manager shared a plethora of info on all the dog-friendly things to see and do in St Augustine.
