Not a good fit for young dogs
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham BozemanWe stayed at the Microtel on our cross-country roadtrip. Previously, our pup adjusted well to the hotels on the trip as they weren't in heavy-use areas of the hotel. While Microtel staff was friendly, they placed us in a room directly across from the hotel's back-entrance. Further, the headboard space above the bed was a dark mirror. Our 11-month old puppy continually thought intruders were coming into our room, barking every time someone entered and exited the back door.
Further, while other dog-friendly hotels on our roadtrip provided waste baskets outside, there were no trash cans to be found outside the hotel.
Overall, the hotel seems like a good place for families to stay. The room was comfortable (outside of a stained towel) but it was not suited to staying with a dog. Next visit in Bozeman, we'll be staying at a La Quinta.
