Great stay
Best Western Plus Lake Lanier Gainesville Hotel & SuitesThe service was friendly. Good front desk. Good breakfast. I would give it 5 bones if it weren't for the design of the rooms. The refrigerator was too large for the cabinet, so the doors wouldn't close. The room was too small for 2 queens, and a chair with ottoman, so it was wedged in the corner. The bathroom was designed so that the commode prevented you from standing near the vanity. Humorous. They should fire the architect.

Good Stay
Red Roof Inn ForsythHad a good Mexican restaurant next door. Rooms were clean.

Poor sound proofing
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham MariannaClean room. 25$ pet fee, 28$ with tax. The mirror in the bathroom had been broken and was just taped back together with electrical tape. The refrigerator had a loud noise. The sound proofing was poor, and a child on the floor above was running around at 4:30 AM. We couldn't sleep because of the noise, so we got up and checked out.
