Very dog friendly
The Back Door LoungeThis place is a great spot to relax when hiking at Starved Rock. They are super dog friendly, letting dogs at most tables on the patio. They will bring them water and they have a doggy menu. A full chicken breast, grilled and cut up for you for $4. My dogs LOVED the extra fuel to keep hiking.

Dog Tolerant, not friendly
Best Western Oglesby InnHotel walls are thin so you can hear everything (including dogs whining next dog), foot steps upstairs and everyone in the hallway. If you have a dog that doesn't do well with noise, this is not a good place to stay. In addition, you CANNOT leave your dogs unattended in the room (even though clearly some people do). They will call animal control if the dogs is loud and they cannot reach you.
