Wonderful view!
Pikes Peak HighwayWe took our 2 year old boxer with us to the peak. He didn't seem to show any signs of labored breathing. However, the top of the mountain was very cold, and there was a lot of construction going on (hence 4 bones instead of 5). There wasnt much to do at the top of the peak other than enjoy the scenery. Dogs are not allowed in the gift shop, so we weren't able to go in together, as one of is had to stay with the dog outside. The views are 100% worth it though!

A must go in Colorado
Garden of the GodsWe brought our 2 year old boxer with us to explore garden of the gods. It was slightly busy, but everybody was extremely friendly to us and him. There are multiple places to stop and get the pup a drink. Being a boxer, he has a ton of energy. He was able to climb some of the rocks with my boyfriend. It completely wore him out. The views are unbelieveable.

Nice hotel
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Denver GoldenThis was a nice hotel for the price. The view from our room was gorgeous, overlooking the rocky mountains. Lots of construction going on around the building, but it was all done at a decent hour. The pet area was small, but a little more secluded than others that we have been to, which made it easier on my dog. Theres an amazing custard place next door that sells "pawbenders". That made the entire stay worth it for us!

Decent hotel for the price
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the GodsWe stayed in this hotel for two nights. The dog area wasnt very big and pretty close to the highway which made my dog very nervous to do his business. The rooms were average. There were a couple people seemingly living in their car in the parking lot. But nothing to make a person feel nervous, especially with the pup in tow.
