Perfect location
Motel 6 Temecula CA - Historic Old TownHonestly we ended up leaving our dog at home with a friend, but the dog friendly room we had booked was clean and comfortable. The grounds were clean and there are plenty of areas to walk your dog. Temecula is very dog friendly in general.

Good find for one night
Ramada by Wyndham TulsaBig, clean room. Elevator. Friendly staff. Hardly any grass for dogs. Not the best part of town, from the looks of it, but I could be wrong.

Acceptable but disappointing
The Postcard MotelThe good: the owners are lovely and were welcoming to my large-ish dog despite their pet policy saying they only accept small pets. Also, the shower had great water pressure and there is Dish tv in the room. They do offer coffee in the AM, but no breakfast. The not-so-good: the place is simply run down and the cleanliness level is questionable at best. The room we stayed in (two double beds) was too small for two adults, there was a previous guest's food in the fridge, the random assortment of furniture looked like it came from a thrift shop, the noisy AC unit was about 8 inches from one of the beds (right at head level), and you can hear freight trains passing by on the railroad across the street all night long. There are more rooms than parking spots and there is no place on the premises to potty your dog, so you have to walk him/her on the sidewalk along Route 66 or somewhere else in town, which after dark might be dicey. All this would be ok for one night if the room hadn't cost over $100 (after tax and pet fee). For that price, you can probably do better elsewhere.

Good find
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestHuge, comfortable room. No pet odors. No fridge or microwave in the room, but we were able to use the microwave in the lobby/dining area. Big parking lot (doggie bags provided) to take your dog out. Not a ton of grass, but more than enough for us. The hotel is right off the highway but the room was incredibly sound proof. Short drive to Old Town Albuquerque.

Great
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Amarillo I-40 West TXAttractive, comfortable hotel. Lots of dogs but the place is in great condition: clean and no pet odors. They give your dog treats at check in. Doggie bags provided in the parking lot. Not a lot of grassy spots for your dog, but enough for quick potty breaks. Breakfast goes til later than most other places, which was a plus. All in all a great find.

Good find
La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis Airport GracelandPet area is almost nothing, but they do provide doggy bags. The room was ample and clean. No pet odors. Gated parking, which is a plus. Bustling little hotel. Very short but pleasant stay.
