Terrific hotel for us and our pup!
Holiday Inn Express Le Claire Riverfront-Davenport an IHG HotelIt will be a no-brainer for us for any future visits to the Geneseo IL or Le Claire IA area. The Holiday Inn Express Le Claire Riverfront Davenport is a terrific hotel. There is a lot of grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves, and while you're out with your dog just step across the pavement and you're right on a rocky shore of the Mississippi River. A lovely location. Our room and the public spaces of the hotel were all squeaky clean. We made our reservation through the BringFido app (it was a snap!), and when we arrived we were greeted warmly by the friendly, efficient, and informative desk staff. (We had asked for info on where to get takeout for fish and chips. Shannon had the info. And the meal was yummy!) One more thing: It's so nice to stay in a hotel where we feel that dogs aren't just "accepted", but are welcomed as part of our family.

Highly recommend
La Quinta by Wyndham Madison American CenterThis LaQuinta location on the east side of Madison WI is now on our personal list of preferred pet-friendly hotels. Immaculate and very comfortable room, and very friendly and helpful staff. Doggie waste bags are available at the exit doors, and there is ample room surrounding the hotel for walks and potty breaks for our dog. Highly recommend this LaQuinta.

Comfortable stay with our Brittany
Best Western Plus Dubuque Hotel & Conference CenterOn a meandering road trip with our dog, we spent a night at the Best Western Plus on the west side of Dubuque, and would most definitely stay with them again. There is a large manicured lawn area in the "alcove" created by 3 wings of the hotel, which gave us plenty of room for our dog's walks and potty breaks. The rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. The $25 advertised dog fee was a bit steep, we thought, but they actually charged us only $20. We highly recommend this hotel.
