Met the need
Motel 6 Lebec CAFor a Motel 6, it was good. The room seemed clean and check in was easy. The location is truck stop so there are the typical services; gas and fast food.

Best dog friendly experience of my road trip
The Wayside InnThe location is wonderful with a view of the ocean that is right across the street and easy access to a nice beach. At check in they provide a " pet basket" with a dog treat, towels for drying the dog if you go to the beach, and sheets to put over the bed if your dog likes to sleep on the bed. The room was clean and nicely appointed with a nice gas fireplace next to the door that led out to the balcony overlooking the park and beach across the street. Next door is a pub with an outdoor area you can take your along with you for a meal and a drink. It was a little chilly so I got mine to go and went back to the room to enjoy the fireplace. Andy at front desk was friendly and helpful. Great place!
