Clean, comfortable room
Drury Inn & Suites St Louis O'Fallon ILVery welcoming and friendly desk clerk but not obnoxiously so. Evening mini buffet and free cocktails were nice idea, but they served off-brand wine and liquor that made me feel I would rather the money the hotel spent to staff/provide that nice touch be applied towards reducing price to stay there. Overall definitely would stay there again if traveling there. There are lots of eateries in walking easy distance.

Easy access and location
Drury Inn PaducahOutback Steakhouse in adjoining lot and easy access from interstate. Small dog walking areas.

Clean and adequate
My Place Hotel - Sioux Falls SDThe hotel was being remodeled so the lobby was bare except some construction equipment. Desk clerk was friendly. The pet walking area was quite small but across the street was a large grassy lot that we took our dogs to so they could run and do their business so that was great. I would not object to staying there again but not one of my favorites.

Noisy, difficult parking
La Quinta by Wyndham Rapid CityThis hotel sits in a complex of about hotels and is part of an indoor water park as in you smell the chlorine in the first floor hallway. There were lots of kids running around (literally running) and the parking lot was so packed that the desk staff were discussing when to call police about having a vehicle towed that had parked in front of an exit door where there was a no parking designation. No real complaints with the room itself other than the noise from the kids running around. Plenty of room to walk dogs and lots of poop bag stations around the complex. If you are traveling in cold weather with kids and need a spot for them to burn energy you would likely give this 4-5 stars. If you are an old fart looking for rest you should look elsewhere.

Clean and comfy
Candlewood Suites Columbia East an IHG HotelWe arrived around midnight and had to stand at the front door for 5 minutes waiting for the desk clerk to unlock the door. He said he was very new on the job. Door in the bathroom wouldn’t close all the way as it was sagging and hitting the door frame. Beds were great and room spacious. Enough grass to walk dog but dispenser out of poo bags. Bottom line: I would stay there again with our dogs.
