Great pet-friendly hotel
Quality Inn Troutville - Roanoke NorthThe hotel is newer or updated. It's clean and great for taking your pet out. There's a Cracker Barrel restaurant you can walk to. Hotel staff were very nice and welcoming.

Not a great traveling stop
Best Western of WalterboroThis hotel is especially unfriendly to older people and disabled people. Parking is an issue. There are also stairs in the "pet friendly" area of the hotel. More stairs to the restaurants. The quality of the food is not worth the trip to the restaurant. The hotel also messed up our reservation with no apologies. Others at the check-in desk were having the same problems. The only plus is the clean room and the housekeeping staff. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel
Hampton Inn Rock HillWe travel North to South and back each year. We're always looking for great hotels and this is one. It's new. All of the employees were awesome. The room was clean and a good size. There's a store in the lobby that even has wine! Loved it! The breakfast was the best we've experienced. And there is a large variety of restaurants for dining out after a long day of driving. There's a pool and fire pit as well. We'll be staying there again, I'm sure!
