Solid choice
Residence Inn Cedar Rapids SouthVery happy with this moderately priced Residence Inn. Rooms were clean with the exception of pretty grubby sofa cushions. Pet fee was high ($100). There was a grassy dog area, and staff was friendly.

Extremely clean and pet friendly
La Quinta by Wyndham Amarillo AirportThis was probably the cleanest most comfortable hotel room I have been in. There were quite a few dogs staying, which meant a bit of barking from nearby rooms, which in turn inspired my dog to bark a little bit, but overall I would say it wasn't bad. They did put us by the stairs which was good for going out but meant more noise to disturb my dog, who gruffed and grumbled a bit (waking me up every time) until the place settled down late at night. Pet fee for large dog was $38.
