Updated Rooms, Great Dog Area
Winnemucca Holiday MotelLet's start with the super reasonable dog fee! Just one small charge per dog at check-in; no stupid recurring daily fee. Then, take the pups for a walk. There is a small patch of grass right next to the hotel with plenty of baggies available. However 100 feet further, and you've got a big open field to play catch and let fido do some business. Finally, settle into your comfy bed. Wake in the morning to first class shampoo and conditioner. Hit the lobby for some coffee and maybe an egg muffin sandwich. The entire time, you'll have wonderful hosts in the lobby, and free shuttle service anywhere in town. We will be back!
Super Staff
The Hotel SalemThe hotel was recently remodeled. The lobby and common areas are modern and clean. The rooms were updated a bit, but still have some of the old school feel. Very clean. From the moment we walked in, to every re-entry, the front desk staff were very friendly. They even offered dog bones to all of the pups. The dog walk area is not fenced, but it is in the far back corner with fences on two sides. Our picky pooper found a spot in just a few minutes. Thank goodness. I'll stay here again when visiting the in-laws! Cheers.
Good for the big dogs!
LOGE BendBend doesn't seem to be very big dog friendly, but LOGE is special. Big dogs rule here. And, they are covered in the room rate! The room is very outdoor focused. It has a hammock in the middle, bike racks on the wall, and a Yeti cooler for your sporting needs. Don't forget to leave it in the room when you checkout. The dog area is large and fenced. Bring baggies, they were out when we stayed, but there is a handy trash can. If you find yourself hungry, the German Brat food truck is a quick win!
Spacious and Convenient
Red Lion Hotel PendletonThere is a lot of open area near the hotel for dog walks. Lots of rules on the property, but you can easily get away and walk or run free. The rooms are huge. They are super clean, but not precocious, so I didn't worry about dog hair or a bit of paw dirt. I'll stay here again when traveling across Oregon.
