Asheville gem
Country Inn & Suites Asheville River Arts DistrictThe shuttle, the shuttle, the shuttle. The hotel is right off the interstate which is convenient, but they have a shuttle bus that will take you and your pup into downtown Asheville. No parking issues. You can explore this great city, and when you’re done, they will come and pick you up. The hotel is 7 years old but looks brand new. And it’s quiet! Our new favorite!
The Best!

Not So Much
Courtyard by Marriott JacksonI made the reservation 10 days out and told them that we were bringing 2 dogs. The staff, however, failed to notice that I requested a first floor room. We arrived around 6pm and all rooms were taken so they put us on the fourth floor! Couldn’t use the elevator because of Covid. Fine for my toy poodle but not so good for my 15 year old hound mix or my 71 year old husband. Also, if you stay there, BRING EARPLUGS!!!! You are literally a stones throw from the interstate. I gave it 2 bones because the room was clean but we won’t be staying there again.
