Great location but hotel in need of renovation
The Suites Hotel at Waterfront PlazaOur reservation stated that we were supposed to have a room with two pullouts, but there was only one. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t working, and the hotel’s solution was to offer fans. I had to push for a new room. In the new room, we opened the pullout sofa and found multiple broken slats. We could only sleep on half of it. Lastly, the extra sheets for the pullout were torn in multiple spots. While the location was great for walking to shops and restaurants, this hotel is in desperate need of a refresh.

Clean room and nice pool
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DuluthThe hotel, rooms, etc were all very clean. The room was pretty large for a basic room. The pool and hot tub were also nice. Nothing great but perfect for our 9 and 11 year old. The hot breakfast was the only thing that left a lot to be desired. Very few selections. Maybe they are still ramping up from COVID restrictions.
