Needs some work

This is a nice facility in a nice location, but it's in serious need of maintenance and upkeep. The air conditioning in our room didn't work, but we didn't discover this until it was very late, and a move would have required a major effort. The toilet had calcium deposits that had obviously been there a while. The caulking in the bathroom was in disrepair. There were tree branches hanging down into some of the parking spaces. You get the idea.

On the plus side, the staff was fantastic. The lady at the front desk during check in (Amanda I believe) was one of the nicest people I've ever met. There is no designated pet relief area that I saw, and no poop bags. Our Labrador absolutely loved it though, but she loves anywhere there's people. She even loved the lady in the elevator who was deathly afraid of dogs. Or at least she tried to anyway. Overall, I'd stay here again if they put some emphasis on maintenance and upkeep.

Very nice hotel

Very nicely appointed, clean suite. The only possible complaint I could have is the size was a bit small, with room for only one bedside table with a queen bed. But that's such a minor complaint that I didn't lower the rating. Very friendly staff. Pet relief area is equipped with a bag dispenser and a disposal container. A couple of food establishments within walking distance, but you'll need a vehicle to access a wider selection. The hotel isn't highly visible, being tucked away between a Red Roof Inn and a DoubleTree, but it isn't difficult to find. Would definitely stay here again.

Badly needs an update, but great people

Can't really say we enjoyed our stay here all that much. The hotel is very outdated and badly in need of an update. There is little to no soundproofing, so bring your earplugs. Several items in the room were in a state of disrepair, though none to the point that it wasn't functional. Normally I would give this hotel a lower rating, but it's a bargain priced hotel, so I can't realistically expect it to meet the standards of a four star hotel. There is also more than one building, apparently not built at the same time, and I can't say the conditions are the same in the other building. But what really keeps me from rating them lower was the staff. They're some of the friendliest and most helpful people you'll ever meet. Plus, despite the age of the place showing so much, it was still very clean.

Very nice hotel

We were impressed with our stays (2) at Staybridge Suites Miamisburg. The rooms were spacious and very well appointed, and were very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly, both to us and our Labrador. The hotel is located in an upscale shopping area, so there's lots of options for eating and shopping within walking distance. There's a grocery store right across the street. The pet relief area is well stocked with poop bags and a disposal receptacle. The room we had on our first stay had a K cup coffee maker, which I really love. The room on our second stay didn't have that, so I assume they're replacing by attrition. There's also a full size refrigerator. My wife and I would be very happy to stay here again, with or without the fur babies, and we very likely will at some point.

Nice, but needs better cleaning

The hotel was well equipped and appointed, as were the rooms, but cleaning was not up to par. We used a paper towel to clean up a little spilled water, and it came back black. Tried a few other locations and got the same result. There was a collection of lint and dust on the ceiling above the A/C vent. These and other things indicated not enough emphasis was being placed on cleaning. Normally I'd rate lower for something like this, but with all the staffing shortages due to covid, I'm cutting a little slack. Add to that the fact that they have some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever come across. It helped that they also loved our Labrador, but it's kind of hard for anyone to not love her. I'd like to note this hotel has the absolute best window screens I've ever seen. They ride in a channel along the window frame, so almost no light whatsoever comes in when they're closed. Soundproofing seemed to be quite good too. Overall, although I wish it was cleaner, I'd have no problem staying here again. Was nice to have a K Cup coffee maker in the room.
