Decent dog friendly hotel

Hampton Inn Harrisonburg South

The lobby area of the Hampton was fairly new and the room was clean and quiet. We only stayed one night are were not in the room much but it was big, and didn’t smell (as some pet-friendly hotel rooms do). My only complaint was the TV didn’t work, but otherwise we would stay there again if we were in the area.

Friendly staff, room not clean

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Gettysburg PA

This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel. The staff were very friendly, but there were some issues. Our room was on the third floor, and there was one elevator, so it was not very convenient and while our dog is ok using an elevator it was not ideal. Also, while our room did not smell (which has been a recurring issue with other hotel rooms that we have stayed in that allows dogs), the room was not very clean (dusty and several hairs in the bathroom) and the furniture and the carpet was quite stained which was not great. Not sure we would stay there again, but I also don't know how the cleanliness of this hotel ranks with other dog-friendly hotels in the Gettysburg area.

Good place to stay with our dog in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg

Griffin Hotel

The Griffin hotel is a great option that is more affordable then the other colonial Williamsburg hotels (that allow large dogs) and it’s in the middle of the historic area. The rooms are very large and CW is very dog friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
