Great For Dogs and People
Comfort Inn Blacksburg University AreaPeople at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of grass to walk the dog. All pets are on the first floor so there are no elevators and it's a short walk out. Good full breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, and other things.

No Major Complaints
Dahlonega Mountain InnThe motel was old but had fresh paint, and it and was clean with new laminate floors. The accommodations were plain, but the chair and bed were comfortable. They accepted my large Irish Setter with no problems, There was no place to walk your dog on the property, but there was plenty of grass at the adjacent McDonald's. The breakfast was nothing, the two bath towels were thin, and there were no tissues, but it was probably better than I expected, and I would stay there again.
