Buddy is an amazing Aussie cattle dog that loves new adventures! I came across Bring Fido while traveling in Michigan. Our home base is southwest side of Chicago Want to share our experiences with other dog owners who travel with their pups.

Nice Outdoor Space & Food!
Wild MonkFirst time dining at Monks. Called ahead to make sure they were dog friendly and they certainly were. The waitress was so nice, brought out a water bowl for Buddy upon our arrival. Patio was spacious and felt safe during these covid times. Great beer and food menu, tried the tangerine wheat and a trio of sliders. Monks is known for their amazing burgers and they didn’t disappoint. Will be back to dine again soon!

Dog Friendly and Great Food
Duffy's Garage & GrilleFound this dog friendly place while hungry and driving through Petoskey. After reading a couple past reviews we checked in with hostess in the front of the restaurant at their Lake street entrance and they directed us through “shoppers alley” around the block to come up the back steps to the patio. It was easy to find with large signage for Duffys. There were several tables on the outside deck with plenty of water bowls for the pups. There was 3 other tables with dogs near us. We came during happy hour which runs from 3-6pm mon-Friday. My fiancé and I had draft beer, house Chardonnay, stuffed mushrooms, hot wings and a 3 topping small pizza which all were on special for happy hour. We were hungry and it was delicious! Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Pretty Spot On Mackinac Island
Bistro On the GreensNice outdoor restaurant a short distance (about 15 min walk) from the busy downtown hub of Mackinac Island. Large patio overlooking mini golf course and the lake. The main wooden deck I don’t believe is dog friendly but the tables on the lower brick patio were. We were the only guests on the brick patio at first so we got a great table with umbrella shade. It was hot! There was 2 other families that came during our visit that also dined with their pups. The restaurant had water bowls available and brought one out as soon as we were seated. The food was delicious. Lots of choices from fresh salads to main courses like whitefish. Upscale food and great cocktails and wine! Would visit again!
