Friendly Staff, lots of open space
Hilton Kansas City AirportThe best thing about this hotel is all of the surrounding open space, so you never feel like you're imposing on anyone when you take your dog out. There is also a sidewalk that runs up and down both sides of the street and even an asphalt path around a pond (not part of the hotel, but close) which was nice for walks. The staff here was very friendly and there were no real restrictions on where the dog couldn't go (i.e. in and out the front entrance vs a side door). The pet friendly rooms are near the door close to the elevator which gives you easy access to the outside.
The only reason this gets four bones instead of five is the fact that, between 11pm-6am the doors near the elevators are locked and there is no key card access, so in that case you have to take your dog through the lobby and to the front where there is less grass.
Another thing preventing 5 stars was the lack of doggy bag stations which certainly isn't a deal breaker but is a little more convenient for pet owners.
Overall it was a very positive experience.
