Dog accepting not dog friendly!

The hotel only has a back portion that is also the smoking section and catch all. The hotel is surrounded by rocks so there is only one place for dogs. The renovations terrified my dog with smells and all sorts of material he tried to eat/ investigate! The staff was nice and the room was fine, but the early morning (3:30) billing scared my dog.
