Training needed
La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Airport NorthThe management and ownership of La Quinta need to take responsibility for their inability to train their staff. A computer malfunction handicapped the 2 desk clerks and they had no recourse other than shrug and say sorry. Hand transactions should be in their repertoire. After a 12 hour drive, I had to stand for 85 minutes until getting my room...fortunately I was 4th in line and not the 16th group that was stuck waiting.
Next, no towels, because laundry wasn't done. Lastly still had to pay $10 for parking when it was only for 4 hours until I was checking out. Not the clerk's fault, but this was the worst hotel experience I've had in years.

Budget, pooch, and location friendly
Hilton Garden Inn Nashville VanderbiltWe had a great stay during our 4 days. Now things happen, and that is the nature of the service and hospitality, however...recovery is where the separation of mediocre and outstanding happens. We had great reception with our beloved Charli Girl pooch. Shuttle service explained, breakfast explained and everything was simple and easy. We would definitely recommend here and plan to stay again.

Friendly staff
Darlington InnGreat staff...Terry and Tina are both amazing. Our dog was showered with love and the accommodations were adequate. The courtyard is super cute and the pool is very clean. The only cons were no elevator, but the view was incredible on the 4th floor. The location is hard to get over. A lot of shady activity and people. Doesn't give you a safe vibe. Location to the beach was awesome, location to the squatters and tweakers was scary at best. But, there are cameras.

Outstanding staff and accommodations
Hyatt Place Nashville DowntownThe concierge staff was dynamite. Helped us with dining, dog friendly activities and more. View was incredible and an overall pleasant visit.
Only drawback was one of the 3 elevators continually stopped in converse with button requests. Spent 15 minutes trying to go from floor 10 to 14. Made stops at the lobby, floor 5, lobby, floor 9, lobby floor7, so on.
